Apprentice Auto Electrician

Euro Car Upgrades Pty Ltd is a rapidly growing company. It provides Chip Tuning & Performance Upgrades, Tow Bars, Electronic Car Upgrades & genuine Retrofits to Clients across Australia with Luxury Euro Vehicles such as Volkswagen, Audi, Mercedes, Porsche, BMW, Range Rover & Volvo.

Our Head Office is based in Maroochydore and we look for an 17-22 year old apprentice to develop the company further and move into our new location in new Sunshine Coast CBD.

This position is for an Apprentice Auto Electrician and would suit a young person who has genuine interest in German vehicles and diagnostics & retrofits of Euro vehicles. The award wage of an apprentice is $9.81 per hour and this will be your starting salary.

The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of the business from bottom and will be trained to become a fully qualified auto-electrician with specialty in Volkswagen & Audi and thorough knowledge of other German brands. We will invite successful applicants for an interview followed by an unpaid trial day with our Master Tech.

General responsibilities will include:

 

  • General Cleaning duties around the workshop to highest possible standard
  • Maintaining Tools & Equipment
  • Working with vehicle wiring harnesses
  • Computer work with data entry & VW database usage ELSA, ETKA, ODIS
  • Working with pins & plugs & specialty tools from VAS range
  • Assisting professional installer with Install jobs
  • Assisting professional installer in modern Westfalia tow bar installs including coding.
  • Learning all aspects about auto-electrician trade from highly skilled professional.
  • Computer Diagnostics & fault finding with factory diagnostics.
  • VCDS Diagnostics & Coding
  • Health & Safety provisions

Summary of the person we seek:

  • 17-22 year old individual - pro-active, motivated & hard working
  • Strong work ethic, showing initiative.
  • Must be able to maintain laboratory cleaning standards.
  • Have good communication skills and be able to write, read & speak proper English
  • Attention to details
  • Must be able to get to work on time, every time
  • No previous criminal convictions and / or drug related charges
  • Driving licence is a benefit

A position has become available for a full time experienced Bi-Lingual Office Manager. Your time will be spent running a busy office & supporting Director. The ideal candidate will be analytical, efficient, highly organised, reliable and fluent in Polish or German. This requirement is critical as you will be required to speak to overseas suppliers in Polish / German. You will be able to multi-task, take a strategic approach to your work and have a sense of urgency. One of your main strengths will be your attention to detail, written and verbal communication as your responsibilities. The successful candidate MUST have the following key attributes and experience to be considered for this role:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in Office Management;
  • Proven knowledge in Automotive Sector, Retrofits and Customer Service;
  • Proven experience in Administration and providing support at an executive level is desirable
  • XERO proficiency is desirable;
  • Understanding the aftermarket automotive sector is desirable;
  • Strong focus on results and client satisfaction;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels in difficult and complex situations;
  • Paramount attention to detail, recording, reporting and thorough follow through;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suites (Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook)
  • Ability to prioritise, work independently to achieve successful outcomes.

This position is for an experienced in the automotive industry Sales and Marketing Specialist. The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of the business.

This is part time role, 3 days a week based in our office in Maroochydore. Salary will depend on experience.

General responsibilities will include:

  • directing the development and implementation of sales strategies and setting sales targets in order to maximise an organisation's sales and customer loyalty
  • directing the development and implementation of strategies to promote an organisation's goods and services to as many people as possible
  • directing the development and implementation of strategies to generate increased consumption of an organisation's goods and services through the creation and reinforcement of 'brand image' or 'brand loyalty'
  • directing the development and implementation of strategies to build and maintain an organisation's image and reputation with its customers, investors and the wider public

  • XERO knowledge is welcome
  • Understanding the aftermarket automotive sector is desirable
  • Strong focus on results and client satisfaction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels in difficult and complex situations
  • Excellent dispute resolution skills with the paramount importance of the client & the Company
  • Paramount attention to detail, recording, reporting and thorough follow through with clients
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suites (Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook)
  • Ability to prioritise, work independently to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Good negotaitions skills 
  • Be motivated by an excellent commision structure
  • Be able to reach & exceed the KPI target monthly, quarterly & yearly.
